Uniquely situated in an aspen-dappled neighborhood backing to national forest land, this extraordinary retreat epitomizes modern mountain living. VANTIA worked with the designer, and clients to create a truly custom hardwood floor to bring their vision to life. The high quality flooring was imported from Austria and is a wide plank European white oak with a custom layered stain, a slightly brushed texture, and a matte finish. This home also features a striking staircase with custom white oak stair treads on a beautiful steel stringer designed for this project. The white oak hardwood flooring extends throughout the open-plan main level, anchoring the majestic vaulted great room with its striking weathered timber and exposed steel beams. The room is further enhanced by a wood-burning fireplace, encased in rugged masonry, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
